I grew up singing in the choir and whistling all the time, with a piano in the house and a grandpa who played seven musical instruments. Our neighbors downstairs were the First Violinist and Pianist in the Symphony orchestra. Music all around!
Having older siblings I heard a vast array of music from Johnny Mathis to The Supremes – The Doors to ELP. Living close to Motown, I grew up with the rhythm in my soul. Eight years of tap dancing lessons moved that into my feet. Later in life it all transferred into my being and through my fingertips.
